Today, say goodbye to the capital and head south to the historic coastal city of Gyeongju. You'll enjoy the varied landscapes as you trade skyscrapers for rural scenery in central South Korea.
En route, visit Andong Hahoe Folk Village, one of the most famous traditional villages. Surrounded by the tranquil Nakdonggang River, this UNESCO World Heritage site features hanok wooden houses, reflecting the social classes of the time, and well-preserved traditional Korean architecture. It's also known for its Hahoe masks, ceremonial masks dating back to the 12th century.
After lunch, continue to Gyeongju. You'll have free time to relax or start exploring this historic city, which was the capital of the Silla Kingdom and has more tombs, temples, Buddhist statues, and palace ruins than any other destination in the country. Overnight stay in Gyeongju.

5th Day: Gyeongju - Busan
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you'll have a visit to Gyeongju, starting with the charming Bulguksa Temple on the mountainside overlooking the city. This main temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism houses national treasures such as the Dabotap and Seokgatap stone pagodas.
Next, head to Seokguram Grotto, a UNESCO World Heritage site offering views of the Sea of Japan. Built between 742 and 765, this ancient hermitage features some of the world's most incredible Buddhist sculptures.
After lunch, visit Gyeongju's final attraction: the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, home to the mysterious Cheonmachong Tomb, burial site of an unknown king, first excavated in 1973. It provides a glimpse of high-class Silla tombs and over 11,000 objects were discovered.
You'll then continue south to the vibrant port city of Busan. In the evening, enjoy views from Ibagu-Gil, a hill street offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city.
