1st Day: UK/Ireland - Night on board
Ready for a wildlife adventure of a lifetime? Arrive at your UK/Ireland departure airport to check-in for a flight to Nairobi *. Night on board.
* If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
2nd Day: Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel*. The rest of the day off in the dynamic capital of Kenya, known as "the Green City in the Sun". We recommend visiting the National Museum or one of the many markets for a taste of the local culture. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

3rd Day: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off early this morning towards the famous Maasai Mara Natural Reserve, named after the unique Maasai tribe that inhabits the area and the Mara River that crosses it. Every year, it plays witness to the great migration, considered one of the seven wonders of the natural world. Driving west, ascend to the edge of the Great Rift Valley and soak up the dramatic views as you take a photo stop at a viewing point. Continue into the valley before arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game viewing drive in the spectacular Maasai Mara Reserve. 4th Day: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge. Today, choose either a full-day game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara Natural Reserve or a combination to morning and evening game viewing drives to observe the largest concentration of wildlife in the world. In the plains, you can find herds of zebras, giraffes and gazelles and in the savannah, mighty lions dominate the environment, as well as hyenas and cheetahs crouched in the long grass. In the forested areas, you can watch hundreds of varieties of birds and monkeys, whilst the rivers are full of hippos and crocodiles, as well as elephants and buffalo. If you're lucky, you might even spot all members of the famous 'Big 5'! Picnic lunch or lunch at the lodge included. Return to the camp for dinner. Overnight stay in the Maasai Mara.

7th Day: Amboseli National Park - Namanga - Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Early breakfast at the lodge before setting off on a morning game viewing drive in Amboseli National Park. Afterwards, head to the Namanga Border Crossing where you'll clear customs and immigration formalities and cross the border into Tanzania. Arrive in the city of Arusha in time for lunch at a hotel. In the afternoon, the journey continues as you head to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famed for its large population of African elephants that congregate around the Tarangire River which crosses the park and provides a vital life source for the wildlife that lives here. Roads in Kenya can be quite bumpy and are not in great condition, particularly those found in the country’s national parks. People who suffer with back problems should consider this before participating in a trip of this nature.
The safari takes place in a vehicle with space for seven passengers, with one passenger seated next to the driver.
The luggage compartment of these vehicles is limited, so for the safety and comfort of all, each person may only carry one soft duffel bag of maximum 10kg.
The rest of the luggage can be left in the Nairobi hotel storage room at no extra cost. It will be identified with a tag and will be collected on return from the safari.
Kenya:
*Travelers must bring their own refillable water bottles. Although there will be 500 ml reusable bottles for sale with a price of USD 10 each, the proceeds from which will be donated to entities dedicated to nature conservation.

Room allocation: We will do our best to accommodate your family in the same room. If availability doesn't permit this, we guarantee your family will be accommodated as close together as possible. Children will always be accomodated in a room with at least 1 adult.
