1st Day: UK/Ireland - Cairo
It's time to unearth the secrets of Ancient Egypt and get to know the vibrant culture of Egypt's most emblematic cities. Arrive at your departure airport ready to check-in for a flight to Cairo. Touch down in Cairo and transfer to the hotel. Once settled, the remainder of the day is free at your leisure to get to know the sights and sounds of the Egyptian capital. Why not explore the historic bazaars of the old town or stop by a local cafe to try authentic Arabic coffee! Overnight stay in Cairo.

2nd Day: Cairo
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World today. Head to the Giza plateau, home to the three Great Pyramids, built over 4,500 years ago and dedicated to the pharaohs of ancient Egypt! Explore the pyramids and learn about their fascinating history as you walk in the footsteps of the pharaohs. Afterwards, continue to the Great Sphinx, the symbolic guardian of the pyramids, and the incredible Temple of the Valley The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore Cairo at your own pace. We recommend an optional excursion to Memphis and the ancient Sakkara necropolis.* The rest of the evening is at your leisure, we recommend rounding it off with an evening tour of Cairo with dinner**. Overnight stay in Cairo.
* Optional Excursion to Memphis & Sakkara: Visit Memphis, once the place of residence of the Egyptian pharaohs, and the nearby necropolis of Sakkara. See the stepped pyramid of Djoser, built by Imhotep, and explore the complete funeral complex of Mastabas. Continue to Mit Rahina to visit the open-air museum.
**Optional Cairo by Night: we take a walk around the most beautiful corners of Cairo (Tahrir Square, Zamalek, Cairo Tower and the Opera House) before heading to the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious dinner. We will finish the evening with a visit to the famous Mirror Café.

3rd Day: Cairo - Luxor
Breakfast at the hotel. Early this morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Luxor*. Adventure awaits today as you explore the incredible Luxor Temple, dating back to 1400 BCE, before paying a visit to the legendary Temple of Karnak* complex. Home to a vast array of ruined temples, chapels, columns and other ancient buildings, explore the site, soak up the unique atmosphere and let your imagination run wild as you learn about life in Ancient Egypt! Afterwards, head to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. To discover more of historic Luxor, why not take an optional excursion to the famous Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut?** Overnight stay in Luxor.
