Breakfast at the hotel. Today we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jakarta to see the main sights of the city. We start with the Old Port of Sunda Kelapa, which is located on the estuary of the Ciliwung River and played an important role in the development of the city. There we see the traditional sailing boats and Old Batavia, the historic old town built in the Dutch East Indies era and covering almost all the areas around Kota Tua. We admire the beautiful colonial architecture of the early 17th century Fatahillah Square. Then we head to Glodok Chinatown, Jakarta's oldest Chinatown, a universe of narrow streets full of markets, small shops selling typical old handicrafts and charming Vihara. Afterwards we visit the Jakarta Museum*. We end the day with a photo stop at the National Monument, a 132-metre high column towering over Merdeka Square, Jakarta's main landmark. Overnight stay.
