From Dubai’s world-class shopping to Oman’s natural beauty, this journey through the Middle East will leave you in awe. Take advantage of Dubai’s ultra modern culture while venturing into Oman’s hidden gems, including Muscat’s dazzling souks, Sur’s traditional dhow-building yards, Nizwa’s iconic castle and Wahiba Desert’s magnificent dunes.
1st Day: UK/Ireland - Night on board
Arrive at your departure airport ready to check-in for a flight to the luxurious city of Dubai*. Night on board.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
2nd Day: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Arrive in Dubai and transfer to the hotel*. The remainder of the day is free to discover this modern Emirati metropolis at your leisure. We recommend visiting the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world and a symbol of the city of 828 meters and 160 floors. Since its inauguration in 2010, it offers the best views of the desert and the city. Underneath is the largest shopping center in the world, the Dubai Mall where 1200 stores of all kinds are located. A shopping paradise! Overnight stay in Dubai.

3rd Day: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the morning at your leisure, exploring the old town or sunning yourself on Dubai's idyllic beaches. At dusk, take an exciting 4x4 excursion to the desert. Pass through camel farms and spectacular desert landscapes, as the sand dunes are illuminated at sunset until arriving at a traditional camp. Here, enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner under the stars with traditional entertainment including Belly Dancing (except during the month of Ramadan), waterpipes and camel rides. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Dubai.
Note: this optional excursion operates on Friday afternoons and Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday mornings only.

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, enjoying a shopping spree in Dubai's fabulous malls or relaxing at your leisure on the beach. We recommend an optional excursion to explore the older parts of the city* or an optional tour of the city's modern attractions**. Overnight stay in Dubai.
*Optional Half-Day Classic Dubai Tour: Visit the Bastakia neighbourhood, home to old merchant houses and cafes, and learn about Dubai's history with included entrance to the Dubai Museum. Take a traditional river taxi, known as an 'Abra' across Dubai Creek to the aromatic souks of Old Dubai, filled with stalls selling exotic spices and golden wares.
**Optional Half-Day Modern Dubai Tour: Visit the most emblematic sights in the city starting at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a traditional arabian bazaar and popular marketplace where you can find typical hand-made crafts. Next, travel to the man-made palm-shaped island of Palm Jumeirah to see the amazing Atlantis Hotel before heading back to the city on the monorail. Afterwards, explore glittering Dubai Marina, a man-made canal city and one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Dubai and end the trip in the Burj Khalifa area (entrance not included) and back to the hotel.
Note: this optional excursion operates on Mondays and Fridays only. You will have the option to be dropped off at the Dubai Mall for some shopping and return to the hotel on your own.

Today, you will embark on a flight towards Muscat, Oman*. Upon arriving at Muscat airport, you will be met by one of our representatives***. Transfer to your hotel for check-in by air-conditioned vehicle. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure; take this time to acquaint yourself with your new surroundings and enjoy dinner, sampling the delicious local cuisine. Overnight stay in Muscat.

6th Day: Muscat, Oman
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day with a briefing of what to expect from your journey in Oman; this will also be the time to meet your tour guide. Next, embark on a full day guided tour of Muscat. You will hit all the top attractions of the city starting by the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a culturally significant place of worship for Omani people and then the Opera house, an edifice of grandeur built by the Sultan Qaboos. You will then stop for lunch at a local fish restaurant before visiting Old Muscat. From here, relish the beauty found at the Bait Al Zubair Museum and finish your tour at Muttrah— the main port and commercial center, and explore the colorful historic souk where you are sure to find the perfect souvenir to bring back home. 7th Day: Muscat - Sur - Wahiba
Breakfast at the hotel. Get ready for a day full of adventure on a drive that will cruise Oman’s most rip-roaring sections of its 1700 km coastline to get to your final destination of the day: stunning Wahiba Sands. Start your journey visiting the famous Sinkhole, part of a collapsed mountain filled with sea water and then continue on towards Fins, Oman’s magical pebble beach. Next stop is Wadi Shab, a narrow canyon home to crystal clear blue water pools. Lunch in Wadi Shab. From here, you will make your way to Sur, known for its unique architecture and shipyards and get a quick tour of the picturesque port city. Continue the coastal road passing through high cliffs and small fishing villages to reach the desert of Wahiba Sands—arguably Oman’s most visited location. 8th Day: Wahiba Sands - Nizwa
Breakfast in the camp. Enjoy your last few moments in the awe-inspiring desert of Wahiba Sands and then hop back on your 4X4 to make your way to the ancient city of Nizwa. Start your drive back by heading towards Wadi Bani Khalid, a lush green valley surrounded by rugged mountains where you can marvel at the magnificence of the incredible views. Stop for lunch and continue your journey towards Nizwa, a historical city with so much to discover. Upon arriving, get to know Nizwa in a full-day tour of the city where you will acquaint yourself with its most important landmarks including the famous 17th century souq and the old city. 9th Day: Nizwa - Muscat - Night on Board
Breakfast at the hotel. The first part of the day will be dedicated to exploring more of historical Nizwa, starting with the charming ancestral village, Birkat Al Mawz, located at the bottom of the green mountain, Jebel Akhdar. From here, you will visit Jabreen Fort and get to know its monumental landmarks such as the Jabreen Castle, built in the 17th century. Then, you will drive back towards Nizwa but not before passing by Jebel Shams, part of the Hajar mountains. Other stops include, small towns of Oman Bahla, the palm groves in Al Hamra to gaze at the intricate Aflaj irrigation system the country is known for. Stop for lunch and transfer to Muscat to make your way to the airport for your departure flight back to UK/Ireland. Night on board.
