*Note: We would like to remind you that tipping is not mandatory, but it is a common practice in the tourism industry. We recommend leaving tips of approximately 7 to 9 GBP per day for tour guides, and 5 to 7 GBP per day for drivers. Additionally, we suggest leaving a tip of 0.50 GBP per suitcase for hotel staff to show your appreciation for their service.
About Sri Lanka:
Sri Lankan visa (required), meals, drinks, tips, and any other services not mentioned in what's included.
If you are traveling to Sri Lanka with a UK/Ireland passport, you will require a Sri Lankan visa: https://www.srilankaevisa.lk For other passport holders, we recommend that you check with the Sri Lankan Embassy for further details.
We would like to inform you that the Sri Lanka visa application website is NOT OPERATIVE at this time. However, all travelers planning to travel to Sri Lanka will be able to obtain their visa upon arrival in the country.
It is recommended to carry the amount of 50/60 USD, or its equivalent in euros, in cash in order to facilitate the process. Also, we suggest disembarking from the plane as early as possible to avoid long lines at the airport.
**Documentation of the internal flights will be available in the "My bookings" section in your "Customer Area" 14 days before your trip. It is essential to fill in the passport information correctly for each passenger in the given boxes at the end of the reservations process.
About India:
*Due to the customs clearance rule of the government of India, if your flight calls at another city in India before arriving in Delhi, confirm at the departure desk in the UK/Ireland whether you should pick up your suitcase and pass customs control at the airport where the connection is made. Remember that if the flight stops in Mumbai you will need to pick up your luggage. Keep in mind that normally this whole process takes approximately 60 minutes.
***You have the possibility to upgrade to half-board by adding 6 dinners in the next step of the booking process.
****The order of the itinerary may differ depending on your arrival day at the destination.
Monday/Friday: 2 nights in Delhi at the beginning, 1 night in Delhi at the end.
Tuesday/Saturday: 1 night in Delhi at the beginning, 2 nights in Delhi at the end.
Note: We would like to inform you that some hotels may offer only vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. This is a common practice in certain establishments and is part of the local culinary experience they provide. If you have any special dietary preferences, we recommend informing the hotel staff in advance so they can accommodate your needs accordingly.
About Sri Lanka:
Matale District includes hotels in the Dambulla, Habarana and Sigiriya area, making it the perfect location to explore the region’s sites.
***You have the possibility to upgrade in Sri Lanka to half-board by adding 8 dinners or to full-board by adding 8 lunches and 8 dinners in the next step of the booking process.
Important note: it is mandatory to send copies of all passengers’ valid passports to customerservice@exoticca.com once you have made your reservation, as these copies are necessary for certain services and tour activities in Sri Lanka.
