Itinerary
Fly to Reykjavik and explore the Golden Circle, including Thingvellir National Park, the Great Geysir, and Gullfoss. Travel along the South Coast over two days, discovering waterfalls, black sand beaches, hiking glaciers, and, depending on the season, exploring a natural ice cave near Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Return to Reykjavik before heading home.
1st Day: Canada - Night on board
Get ready to start your Icelandic adventure! At the scheduled time, head to your departure airport to board your flight to Reykjavik.* Night on board.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
2nd Day: Reykjavik
Touch down in Reykjavik. Upon arrival at Keflavik Airport, self-transfer to your hotel.* You have the rest of the afternoon free to relax or begin exploring the surroundings. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

3rd Day: Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy an excursion to the Golden Circle, where you'll explore geothermal hot springs and visit the famous Great Geysir and Strokkur—an active geyser that erupts every few minutes. Continue to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most stunning waterfalls. Afterwards you’ll have free time to relax. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

4th Day: Reykjavik - South Coast
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on a scenic adventure along Iceland’s South Coast. Your first stop is the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can even walk behind the 60-meter cascade. Continue with visits to Gljufrabai and Skogafoss waterfalls, followed by the unforgettable Reynisfjara black sand beach. Throughout the day, your guide will share fascinating insights, adding to even more to your experience of Iceland’s unparalleled natural beauty.
And day keeps getting better with a hike on Solheimajokull Glacier led by a professional guide. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of mountains, black sand beaches, and lava landscapes while learning about glacier formation and Iceland’s ice caps.

5th Day: South Coast - Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day with a visit to the famous Diamond Beach, just a short drive from Jokulsarlon. The black sand is scattered with ice chunks that sparkle like diamonds in the sunlight.
Next, explore the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, where enormous blue and white icebergs break off from Vatnajokull Glacier. This natural wonder is a must-see in southeast Iceland. While at the lagoon, enjoy an amphibian boat tour among the icebergs, with an English-speaking guide who explains the geology and history of the area. You can even taste 1,000-year-old ice, and if you’re lucky, spot some playful seals.
On the way back toward Reykjavik, make additional stops at the Eldhraun Lava Fields and the Bridge of the Volcanoes. And if time allows, stop in Vik to explore this charming South Coast village. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

6th Day: Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you have a free day to explore at your own pace. Also, we recommend you to join our optional activities, like the Blue Lagoon experience* or the Whale Watching.** Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
*Optional Blue Lagoon experience: With waters that are milky-blue and mineral rich, enjoy a visit to the Blue Lagoon, located in the middle of a lava field making it one of the most unique wonders of the world. The algae found within the waters is known for having healing properties on the skin. The Blue Lagoon comes equipped with an in-water bar offering soft and alcoholic drinks and an in-water Mask Bar to slather on a silica mud mask. There are also saunas and steam rooms.
**Optional whale watching: The wildlife is a must-see while in Iceland, and this island makes a great spot for whale watching.

Tips: we advise to bring good shoes. The ground in Iceland can be slippery, wet, or icy. Also, you can bring your swimsuit, even if you don´t plan to swim. You might change your mind once you see the warm steaming lagoon!
