Tetova lies in northwestern North Macedonia, beside the Šar Mountains, and is known for its vibrant multicultural character. Its most striking landmark is the Painted Mosque, admired for its richly decorated facade and vivid geometric and floral interior motifs. Interestingly, the nearby Lešok Monastery blends medieval legends with stunning panoramic views of the Polog Valley.
