3rd Day: Florence - Montecatini Terme

Breakfast at the hotel. After check-out, leave your luggage at reception before joining your guided tour of Florence, where an expert local guide will take you to the city’s iconic landmarks, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Uffizi Gallery (outside visit), while sharing insights into its rich art, history, and architecture.

After the guided tour, enjoy a tasting of the traditional panino al lampredotto, a classic Florentine street food made with slow-cooked, tender lampredotto on a crunchy bread roll (semelle).

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day with a visit to Lucca, where Renaissance walls, the picturesque Torre delle Ore, and Piazza dell’Anfiteatro transport you back to medieval times. Enjoy free time to explore this charming city at your own pace.

Afterward, continue to Pisa for an included lunch at a local restaurant, where you’ll sample the traditional flavors of Tuscan cuisine. Following lunch, enjoy free time to discover Pisa, with highlights including the iconic Leaning Tower, Piazza dei Miracoli, and the stunning cathedral.

At the indicated time, head to the meeting point and travel to Lari, an ancient hilltop town, for a visit to one of the smallest pasta factories in Europe. Here, you’ll discover traditional pasta-making techniques and learn about the artisanal production process, and don’t miss the chance to stock up on handmade pasta.

*Optional full-day excursion to Cinque Terre: Travel by coach (87 miles, approx. 2 hours) to the stunning Cinque Terre with a local English-speaking assistant who will share insights along the way. This coastal region is known for its picturesque villages perched on steep cliffs between the sea and vineyards.

The experience includes the 5 Terre Card, allowing unlimited train travel between La Spezia and Levanto, so you can explore the villages at your own pace. Visit highlights such as Monterosso, an ancient fishing village known as "the pearl of the Cinque Terre," as well as Manarola and Riomaggiore, famous for their narrow streets and scenic harbors.
