What to see in Cuba
Guama
Tourist attractions Guama
Guama is situated in the western and southern parts of Santiago de Cuba province. The town developed in 1976 with the new political-administrative division, the capital of this division being located in the town of Chivirico. This vast territory was previously part of the municipality of El Cobre. Together with that of Santiago de Cuba, it shared the coast of the province, a large area, which has a long coastline, and also includes a fair amount of the Sierra Maestra, the largest mountain range in Cuba. The Guama coast is formed of high cliffs, where many parts of the Sierra Maestra mountain range fall directly into the sea, creating extraordinarily beautiful landscapes.
