Tam Coc is a picturesque town in the province of Nihn Bihn, around 90 kilometres south of Hanoi. It is well known for its three natural caves (Hang Ca,, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba) which formed due to the erosion of rocks by the river. These caves can be navigated by boat through a series of rice paddies and karst formations.
