Serrano & Balmaceda Glaciers

Tourist attractions Serrano & Balmaceda Glaciers

These glaciers are found in the  Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, the largest in the country and accessible by boat from Puerto Natales, that sail through the Ultima Esperanza Fjord.

During the journey, you can witness the sound of waterfalls and colonies of Condors, as the landscape runs through the fjords of Chilean Patagonia until you see the Mount Balmaceda and its imposing glaciers. To access the Serrano Glacier, you can walk from Puerto Toro for a kilometer through a forest. Visiting a live glacier is a unique and unforgettable experience. The sharp shapes that the imposing walls of ice possess and their beautiful blue tones inform you that you are face-to-face with authentic virgin treasures of Mother Earth.
